Bringing wide-ranging expertise in global commercial and specialty underwriting classes, Jonathan joined Pen in 2015 to develop its underwriting footprint, capacity and international reach. A London Market veteran, Jonathan was previously CEO for Brit Re and Active Underwriter of Syndicate 2987.
Responsible for underwriting, capacity management, pricing, analytics, risk & governance, claims and marketing across Pen, Tom became CUO after leading our Specialty division, where he combined growth and profitability with commitment to the Four Pen Pillars. Tom came to Pen after a successful 25-year career with RSA.
Passionate about innovation and fearless in challenging accepted norms, Nick is growing our Commercial division by setting new standards for customer service. Nick has over 30 years of commercial insurance experience including sales, product development and underwriting.
A high profile leader with over 28 years’ experience, Jennifer joined Pen in 2015 to lead our Financial Lines division. Under her leadership, new product lines, like Cyber, have been added and she has strengthened performance and profitability across the board.
Steve arrived at Pen after 30 years leading broking businesses and driving sales for major brokers. Having a senior executive who truly understands our customer makes Steve a vital part of our strategic direction. Steve is responsible for our Specialty businesses: Hazardous & Environmental Industries, Global, Motor Fleet, Construction, Specialist Trades and OAMPS.
An expert in e-trading, Andy is responsible for the development of Pen’s volume business in Commercial, Household and Personal Lines. Andy has over 20 years of experience in developing products and niche schemes for brokers, affinities and corporate partners.
Michelle is responsible for operations across Pen, ensuring we have the capabilities in place to deliver our business plan and strategy. Michelle joined the Pen Exec in 2018 after three years leading Pen's integration and operational transformation. Prior to Pen she worked for the consulting firm Accenture, specialising in change-management in the insurance industry.
Mike’s priority is ensuring Pen focuses on profitable, sustainable growth that delivers healthy margins for all stakeholders. Mike brings 20 years of finance experience, having spent the last 12 years in the insurance industry.
Claire joined Pen in 2016 to foster colleague engagement, change management and talent management. Claire’s diverse HR experience includes RBS, Rush Hair and BT Openreach.
